This Chocolate Chip Banana Bread Recipe is so easy to make and super soft and moist! The very best way to use up spotty bananas and brown sugar this bread is extra sweet and full of flavor.
Ingredients
- 85 g unsalted butter
- 150 g brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 ripe bananas
- 170 g all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 100 g chocolate chip

- 1 banana
- Chocolate Chip
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 175°C | 350°F. Grease a 8x4.5 inch loaf pan and sprinkle evenly with flour.
- In a large bowl, stir together the melted butter and brown sugar. Add the egg, vanilla and mashed bananas, mix well.
- Combine the sifted flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Stir into the butter mixture until smooth. Fold in the Chocolate chips (Set aside some chocolate chips for toppings).
- Spread evenly into the prepared pan. Put on half-cut banana and chocolate chips.
- Bake in 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes, until inserted toothpick comes out clean.
- Cover and store banana bread at room temperature for 3 days.
Notes
This recipe makes 1 loaf (8x4.5inch), about 10 slices.
