Description

Easy and Healthy Recipe: Transforming Oats, Nuts, and Dried Fruits into Tasty and Portable Cereal Bars!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 120g oatmeal
  • 30g Nuts
  • 30g dried fruit
  • 40g honey
  • 40ml vegetable oil

Instructions

Preparations

  • Place an oven sheet in a 15cm (6 inches) square pan.
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F).

Oatmeal Bars

  1. In a bowl, combine oats, roughly chopped nuts, dried fruits, honey, and vegetable oil.
  2. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan lined with parchment paper and press it down firmly using a spoon or any other utensil.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for about 20 minutes, or until the surface is nicely browned. Once removed from the oven, allow it to cool to room temperature.
  4. Once cooled, cut into your desired size.

Notes

  • When freshly baked and hot, it is soft, so let it cool before cutting into pieces.
  • Chocolate chips can be substituted for nuts and dried fruits.
  • Melted butter can be used instead of vegetable oil to enhance the flavor.
