Description

This is a very easy no-bake chocolate tart recipe that requires only 4 ingredients and doesn't use an oven.


Ingredients

  • 160 g (about 20 cookies, excluding cream) Oreos
  • 80 g unsalted butter, melted
  • 200 g chocolate
  • 150ml heavy cream

Instructions

Oreo tart base

  1. Remove the cream from the Oreo cookies and place the cookies in a bag. Crush them finely using a rolling pin or similar tool until they resemble coffee grounds.
  2. Combine the melted butter with the crushed cookies and mix well, ensuring that the butter is evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into a tart pan using the back of a spoon or the bottom of a glass to compact it. For the edges, press the side of a glass against them and use your fingertips to press down any excess for a clean finish. Place it in the freezer until ready to use.

Chocolate ganache

  1. Place the chopped chocolate in a bowl. Heat the heavy cream.
  2. Pour the heated cream over the chocolate and let it sit for about 1 minute to melt the chocolate.
  3. Slowly mix until smooth and creamy.
  4. Pour the mixture into the tart pan and refrigerate for 3 hours to overnight.
  5. Gently warm the sides of the mold and remove the dessert from the mold. Use a warmed knife to cut into slices.

Notes

  • The base tart crust can be made with regular plain biscuits and still be delicious.
  • You can add rum or whiskey to the chocolate filling for extra flavor, or serve it with whipped cream on top when it's done. Since it's a simple and easy recipe, feel free to customize it according to your preferences.
