Description

These chocolate brownie cookies are crackly crusts and soft fudge centers, all chocolate brownies character in cookie form! Try this recipe, super quick & easy to make!


Ingredients

Scale

  • 100 g chocolate
  • 30 g unsalted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 60 g light brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 20 g all-purpose flour
  • 10 g cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • a pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C | 350°F.
  2. Melt the butter and chocolate together in a microwave or in a bowl set over a pan of simmering water. 
  3. Combine the eggs, brown sugar and granulated sugar together in a large mixing bowl. 
  4. Slowly pour the chocolate mixture into the egg mixture until combined. Also add vanilla extract.
  5. Add the sifted flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt, using a rubber spatula to fold it in until just combined. 
  6. Drop the batter onto a baking sheet 2-large tablespoon. (Or a using piping bag)
  7. Bake at 350°F for 7-9 minutes or until the cookies are crinkled and look puffy. Do not over bake. This is very important for keeping the cookies soft!
  8. Let them cool on the baking sheet for about 5minutes. Then transfer them to a wire rack to finish cooling.
