Description

This Best Fudgy Chocolate Brownie Recipe gives a super fudgy chewy inside with a crispy crust on top! It requires just 1 bowl, no mixer, and take less than an hour to make.


Ingredients

  • 80 g chocolate, roughly chopped or chocolate chips
  • 110 g unsalted butter
  • 150 g sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • a pinch of salt
  • 25 g all purpose flour
  • 15 g cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 50 g walnuts, roughly chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C | 350°F.
  2. Line a 20cm square brownie tin with baking paper. 
  3. Melt the butter and chocolate together in a microwave or in a bowl set over a pan of simmering water. 
  4. Add sugar, stir until sugar is dissolved.
  5. Add eggs, vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Stir mixture until smooth.
  6. Add sifted flour and cocoa powder and walnuts. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes or until the top is cracked but the middle just set.
  8. Cool to room temperature, then lift out of the tin and cut. Enjoy!
